MTA logistics department
 
 
MTA logistics department conducts:
 
  • Maintenance and repairs of specialized training, field training and lodging facilities;
  • Physical protection of objects.
 
1.      Section of ranges and training grounds
 
  • Specialized training for executive units of The Security System of the Slovak Republic;
  • Field training for the Slovak Armed Forces and also for overseas armies;  
  • Conducting weaponry and equipment  verification testing;
  • Live fire from tanks, APCs or armoured combat vehicles;
  • Fire from small arms;
  • Fire from aircraft and helicopters with unguided missiles as well as practice bombing;
  • Tactical exercises with live or practice fire;
  • Convoy escort training;
  • Units training for missions;
  • Sappers training in EOD activities;
  • Tanks and APCs driving qualification training including breaching water obstacles.
 
MTA logistics department has at its disposal following training facilities:

  • JAKUB BUILDING GUN – tactical&shooting simulator
  • JAKUB CLIMBING – climbing simulator
  • JAKUB KOLOSEUM – heliborne simulator
  • JAKUB HIGH RISING BUILDING GUN – tactical&shooting simulator
  • SCATT – laser shooting range
  • CISM – assault course
 
2.      Section of lodging facilities
 
Section of lodging facilities is responsible for accommodation services of deployed troops and the section has at its disposal following lodging facilities:
  • Lodging facility Slávia 100
  • Lodging facility Slávia 300
  • Lodging facility Zábava
  • Lodging facility Vododrom
  • Camp Slávia (wooden chalets)
  • Camp Riečky
  • Camp Brožkov Prameň
 
 
3.      Section of physical protection of objects
 
  • 24-hour-continued protection of all the ISHCT objects as well as its separate objects via camera system and physical rounds;
  • Fulfilling other services in the sense of the Regulation No.473/2005 concerning objects´ protection;
  • Protection of weapons and ammunition including their distribution;
  • Maintenance of communications and reinforced surfaces in the winter season;
  • Working outfits of security personnel are clearly marked with official badges.
